Petraeus Testimony On Benghazi Tied to Knowledge Of Affair? Nov 14th 2012, 17:36 Krauthammer says that CIA Director Petraeus' Testimony on Benghazi might be influenced by White House knowledge of his affair. From RealClearPolitics. "It meant that he (Patraeus) understood that the FBI obviously knew what was going on (the affair). He was hoping that those administration officials would not disclose what had happen[sic] and therefore hoping that he would keep his job. And that meant that he understood that his job, his reputation, his legacy, his whole celebrated life was in the hands of the administration and he expected they would protect him by keeping it quiet." I was thinking the same thing as Krauthammer. Actually, I was thinking that the Chicago machine might have even more on Petraeus, and his resignation and silence about the dirty deeds in Benghazi ensure we will probably never know the whole story.
