I've been covering Twitter accounts and Twitter's reaction to news for almost three years and the creation of a parody or funny account for a famous inanimate object in the news is nothing new. While some inanimate objects have Twitter accounts that tweet daily regardless of the news, the Pope's or Papal Smoke Stack will probably peak up to the selection of the new Pope in 2013 and subside slowly after. Chances are you might not hear from the Smoke Stack for years to come. A new Pope is not selected very often as the appointment is usually for life and until death.
