2. Mr. & Mrs. Bieber Justin Bieber spent Valentine's Day this year with the 6-year-old girl Avalanna Routh, who has been fighting a rare form of brain cancer for over 5 years. Avalanna's wish was to meet Bieber in person. After her family appealed to him via Facebook, Bieber decided to have the little girl and her family fly over to New York for Valentine's Day. Three months later on June 15, Justin and Avalanna ("Mrs. Bieber") were reunited in NYC, where Bieber performed at the Today Show. This week's most-popular 9GagTweet is this one, described as a "Final solution for the Netherlands." The Dutch football team, number 4 in the world and dubbed the favorites for Euro 2012 glory, could not secure a single point in Euro 2012′s first three matches, leading to an early elimination. When we say "Top 10 Twitter Pics," we mean it. These were the 10 most-viewed photos from all across Twitter this past week. Twitter was all about pop stars this week. Katy Perry, Rihanna and Justin Bieber shared photos, and their impressive social followings were there to retweet. There were also photos featuring Louis of pop sensation One Direction and Carly Rae Jepsen of "Call Me Maybe" fame. (See our impressive collection of viral "'Call Me Maybe" videos.) In addition to the big names in pop, there was also an array of other viral images that represented the past week. Summer officially kicked off all over the world, and the single most popular photo was taken right here in New York City. There was a heroic image for Father's Day, and of course, the 9gag photo of the week. Each week, we work with our partner Julie Donders at Skylines to gather the top 10 Twitter pics. Euro 2012 On the other side of the world, Europeans are on the edge of their seats for the UEFA European Football Championship (commonly referred to as Euro 2012). This exciting tournament is only organized once every four years.
