It seems like anything this girl does makes the top of the country music news. And no wonder…that's what happens when you're the biggest music star in the world. After all, with the number of No. 1 singles and albums, as well as Grammy's, ACM's, and CMA Awards, it's no wonder the entire world turns with the slightest hiccup involving Taylor Swift.
She dropped a couple hints last week about big things happening very soon for her.
"I'm writing you fromNashville, where I just sat in a big room with a lot of people and made a lot of decisions about a lot of things happening very soon," she said earlier this week. "And as vague as that sentence was, I think you know what it means. Stuff is about to happen."
She didn't reveal any specifics, though (obvioiusly), so media sources across the country are left speculating. New album? New single? Broadway musical? Hmm….we'll let you know when we know.
But one thing we do know is that it was announced earlier this week that Taylor is officially the richest young celebrity in theU.S. Yes, she sits atop Forbes Magazine's Highest Paid Celebrities Under 30. Ms. Swift earned $57 million between May 2011 and May 2012, good enough for the #1 spot on the list, narrowly beating out Justin Bieber's $55 million. She placed fifth on the list in 2011, earning $45 million last year. She also placed No. 11 on Forbes' 100 Most Influential Entertainers as well.
Speaking of Justin Bieber, though, apparently a half has been placed on the developing tune that the two wrote together. It was originally rumored to appear on Bieber's new album, 'Believe.' This is surprising considering Justin, himself, commenting on it when they were recording.
"It's crazy. I mean, I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently," she said. "It's so out there. Everything is so different, and that's why I'm so happy with this album."
But based on Bieber's camp, as well as the producers of the album following its release, it appears as though the song simply didn't make the cut. But honestly, how is it that Taylor Swift doesn't make the cut? Hmm…
We'll keep you posted on these developing stories, as well as the as-of-yet announced news surrounding all things Taylor.
