Why? Let me list the ways:
- It has a cliched stock image.
- It wasn't written for humans but for search engines, social media, social media monitoring, social media management, social media platforms.
- There's really no story.
- Lists of bullets points don't help you think critically.
- This link is bad. (This one was eaten by a monkey.)
- Was there even a hook? Is there a point?
- Maybe some edits should be mad or maybe not!
- For all intents and purposes, the present bullet point is, in a manner of speaking, communicated to its readership at this present time in a style likely to be perceived as loquacious and voluble, drilling down into a paradigm shift that dramatically architects enabled catalysts for change.
Or maybe all of what was just listed above is untrue. Maybe there is a story. Maybe that story is that we've all been there. We've read (or written!) content that should never have seen the light of day.
Consider the things that cause you to close a page, or stray from something you began to read but lost interest in. Make a list of those things. Promise yourself never to do them.
Now it's your turn. *pointing to the comments section* What drives you away from reading content and how are you avoiding falling into the trap of just throwing something together?
