Fans of Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo succeeded in making the singer-actress among the local trending topics on the microblogging site Twitter on Tuesday.
This comes after the June issue of Mega magazine with Geronimo on the cover was released.
Several netizens took to Twitter to praise the magazine cover.
Twitter user @popstersahjane said "KAHIT ANONG ANGGULO MAGANDA PA RIN.. Sarah G. On MegaMagazine."
Twitter user @observerph, on the other hand, tweeted: "Sarah G. On MEGA Magazine is the coolest cos Sarah Geronimo is our MEGA Pinoy Pride. Mabuhay ang sariling atin!"
Twitter user @itzdj_ghee, meantime, noted Geronimo's natural beauty. "Sarah G on Mega Magazine-then and now @SGeronimo25 walang retoke ang ganda ng tunay na Filipina," she said.
Meanwhile, several people also commented on the official website of Mega Magazine lauding the young singer. Most of them said they will surely grab a copy of the issue.
"I haven't bought Mega in awhile but with this cover, surely I won't miss. This is a breath of fresh yet very sophisticated air on the magazine. Very clean and futuristic, ideal for a cover girl whose career has bought into full bloom. Kudos Mega," said Kat Catapusan.
"The cover is superb! It is indeed extraordinary and a SOMETHING to talk about! also classy and futuristic," added Anne Ville Purificacion.
As for Ariane Mangiliman, she said: "My favorite Pinoy Performer! :)) Mabuhay ang sariling atin!"
In line with the country's upcoming celebration of the Philippine Independence Day, Mega has chosen Geronimo to be the cover of this month's issue.
Mega said the newest issue will feature "the proud ambassador of the Filipino voice" from "her beginnings that led her to become a household name, her shows abroad and in the country, and how she can't imagine doing anything else."
On the Mega cover, Geronimo was photographed wearing a tiered dress and studded jacket created by fashion designer Avel Bacudio.
