Hi minna-san. How are you today?

The rains seemed to have passed this morning. Though fluffy white clouds still float in patches overhead-- and some ominous fog covers the tippy tops of the hills. Is it snowing up there...?

Just a couple doodles and some "stuff" pictures today. Hope to enjoy?

Ah, can you see? It's very light pencil only at the moment. On Sunday, I pulled an inspiration out of the inspiration box and it said "wind chime / ふうりん" so I attempted to write a short Pirate Cat Six story. I don't think it turned out very good.......

But anyways there's the link if you're curious at all to read it. There's rather no action or Pirate sort of stuff in it....... more like a surreal glimpse sort-of-story. Surreal stuff happens a lot with the Pirate Cat Six ... but at the end of the story, the idea of that land and city out in the distance-- it made me draw up a treasure map. hehe it doesn't look like a treasure map. More just like a street map .. >~< hafta work on treasure map writing skill..... hrmmm......... but it doesn't really need anything like an "x marks the spot" because it's a riddle that becomes the guide. But just like treasure maps, I've hardly even tried making up a riddle so we'll see how that goes ~____~

Also having to do with the short story. This is Storie feeding Eddie-kun a bite of his bread and cheese. I got a cute comment on Instagram when I posted this doodle^^ Mimiokka-san said, "そして、冷やしたmilkだね  " (soshite, hiyashita milk dane -- and chilled milk, huh!) hehehe yaaaaaaay she could tell it was milk bottle in the bucket with ice^____^. Funny thing is... the past two mornings I've been snatching a bite of challah (Jewish egg bread-- the kind they had in the story too but not mentioned by name) and a cube of some sort of raw cheddar and eating it as a treat after breakfast. There's just something so special about bread and good cheese..... and I almost always forget about it except when narrating Pirate Cat Six stories because it's one of the crew and Eddie's favorite things to eat. yummm^^ and mummy told me that cheese has protein in it, so I've been trying to eat little bits here and there to try to be healthy.

A little pastel pinwheel in the ficus tree pot.

Sora the crow sitting on the table with Tetsujin 28 yo-yo. I found out that papa doesn't like crows..... but he's okay with me liking them. I didn't see the crow who visits our yard for worms this morning though..... ?

TAKO! Tako fuurin^_____^ and the other is similar to the one Captain Towe owns too.

What does the wall texture look like to you? Some sort of animal skin or something........ ne? Sometimes I'm not sure if it's nice or not.... my fashionable '60s dolly always looking beautiful -- yet always looking a little forlorn.....

Lately, I've been loving reading A Little Princess. It's so cool a story. The kind you really do wanna keep reading^^ And lately, as a family we've been watching Mr. Moto movies at night. Have you heard of him (played by Peter Lorre)? He's a little scary.... but way super cool. He is incredible with disguises like Sherlock-onii-san and does fabulous magic tricks like Storie. It still makes me wonder... if there are actual real cool people left in the world anymore. Seems like all the cool people are in movies from the early part of last century T____T. But it still kinda makes me want to learn some acting stuff so I can go in search of cool actors to see if they still exist. etto....... another funny idea I have is that all the cool people from way back when were all actors >~<. What do you think?

Wouldn't it be fun, though, to go back in time and go to the movies^____^ see these old movies when they were new!

Papa got the mail the other day and there was a catalog from the local community college and he asked my why don't I take their "Fundamentals of Acting" class. But even for a little college it's really expensive -____- ... but maybe they'd let me just take one class. Papa also thought maybe there's some way to get help paying for it. But probably only if you actually sign up to go there full-time. And then it made me wonder if they kick you out of class if you're no good at acting 0___0!? The last time I acted in something was first or second grade.... It was a little play in a little school and I was supposed to play a bear with a little paper bear ear hat on. We have photos of it someplace..... my friend Anna was the star and she wore a hat of paper flowers. For some reason I remember having to play her part though...... because she wasn't there? Maybe it was a rehearsal.... and what if you don't like comedy??? I don't like comedies... T^T ... rather have a story with adventure or crying or suspense or mystery. Am I too picky to learn acting? Because I envision a story somewhat like a Japanese drama....... and maybe I could play the part of the girl who cries a whole bunch? hehe somebody stop me before I really over-think this thing and end up and square one again^^;;

Anyways, just thought I'd check in with you all! Been trying to clean up my room and unclutter and find things to throw away and give away. It's going pretty well. Then throwing all the good stuff into boxes for the next time we move. ... need more boxes.......

baibai

p.s. today outside in the back yard, I had a marvelous idea for my very own little "crow's nest" spot way up high! Sometime I shall look around in the garage to see if we have any extra planks of wood to build with-- and then see what we can do n___n ... love being up high...... reading about Sara's attic window really makes me want to have my own place to go watch sunsets and stuff and be in the world above the ground where few people bother to ever visit.
