Henry Hill, Former 'Goodfellas' Mobster Dead at 69 Jun 13th 2012, 12:21 Henry Hill, the former mobster who life story became the basis for the movie "Goodfellas" died today at the age of 69… TMZ learned. Hill's girlfriend Lisa told TMZ, that Hill passed away in an L.A. hospital on Tuesday (Jun 12) after a long battle with an undisclosed illness. "He had been sick for a long time … his heart gave out." Lisa told TMZ. It was also said that Hill had focused on mending relationships with his estranged family members in recent years. Lisa also said that he had made tremendous progress before he died. Hill was famously portrayed by Ray Liotta in the 1990 classic "Goodfellas." Hill leaves behind two children, he lived as a legendary mobster but prided himself on reforming later in life. He was also a frequent guest on the Howard Stern show.
