Abstract: Zynga announces plans to release a new gaming podium that will allow it to go into the real money video gaming market
After months of speculation within the online gaming industry, Facebook Inc has confirmed what everyone has long suspected: they are thinking about real money gaming in the end.
In a statement released to the industry push, the social gaming giant announced that it is building a new game playing platform which will enable users to play their games for real funds. This new, distinct platform will indicate a move away from your social networking site Myspace, changing a relationship that is in place since 07. And what a productive relationship it has been, along with Zynga utilising Facebook's intensive user base to deliver video games such as CastleVille, Words using Friends and of course, Facebook Poker, to numerous players across the world.

Level Pincus, the co-founder involving Zynga, said "In 2007 Facebook changed the sport with their courageous go on to open their podium to us all. We're extremely pleased to be a part of Facebook's ecosystem and we built Facebook.com to complement their own pervasive social graph and or chart."
Pincus went upon advise that both organizations will continue to work closely collectively, adding that Zynga.com will be one of the first sites to be completely integrated into Facebook.
It is often reported that Facebook Poker is checking out partnership opportunities that will enable it to enter the web market in the United States. Because online gaming is currently unlawful, the only entry directly into this potentially worthwhile market is via a relationship with a land-based casino within states such as Nv or California. Equally states are currently creating a regulatory construction for the online poker sector and are currently digesting applications from local operators.
While Zynga has benefited tremendously from its symbiotic romantic relationship with Facebook, situations of the past month have got exposed the limitations of these a close relationship. Zynga's luck are closely tied up – perhaps a lot of – with the fortune of Facebook.
Whenever Facebook went open public in May, your social giant didn't provide investors the "IPO pop" that lots of expected. As of May well 30, 2012, Facebook's shares are down 24%. Myspace is down 15% for the similar period.
Expect Facebook to quickly make a situation whereby they will rely less about Facebook. How will Zynga's brand new gaming platform conduct without Facebook? Stay tuned for more – we'll know by summer's end where this specific story goes!
