Different criteria of different colleges for admission in Commerce

Commerce is generally considered a "hot course" in most of the colleges in DU. Mainly the first choice of students while opting for the course is mainly "commerce". Hence, while filling the OMR form, keep these criteria of different colleges in mind.

Ramjas College-

under category A, for B.com and B.Com (honours) English, Accountancy, business studies or commerce, maths or business maths are necessary. Whereas, under category B, English, Accountancy, business studies or commerce, maths or business maths or computer science is necessary.

Daulat Ram College-

for B.com, 12th should be clear with accounts and maths. If in 12th, accounts or maths are not there then cut-off will be 2% higher. With both the subjects not present, cut-off will be 3% higher.

Laxmi Bai college-

for B.com, 12th should be clear with economics and maths. While, accounts and business studies should have 60%. For B.com (honours), maths and economics should be 60% together.

Hindu College-

under category A, for B.Com (honours), three commerce subjects along with English have been placed. Under category B, for B.Com (honours), three science subjects along with English have been placed. Cut-off of category B will be 2.5% higher than category A.

Hansraj College-

For admission in B.Com (honours), a student from non-commerce background, will be admitted with percentage 2% higher than the cut-off.
Kirorimal College- For B.Com (honours), maths is necessary up to 12th. But business maths is not valid.

Lady Sri Ram College-

for B.com (honours), 12th should be clear with English and maths with 60%.
