Get Rich or Die Tryin' star, 50 cent was on Tuesday morning involved in a car accident when a Mack truck ran into his SUV from the back on the long expressway in New York.
The Candy Shop hitmaker was taken to Queens hospital after the collision.
According to fan site ThisIs50.com, the incident occurred when a red truck rear-ended his bullet proof vehicle and it 'almost flipped over'.
50 Cent – real name is Curtis Jackson – and was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearby medical facility, along with his driver, where he was treated for his 'minor' injuries.
Bruce Miller, who was driving the car, was also injured and has been released from the hospital.
It's not the first time 50 has been at Queens this year after he was previously hospitalised due to a bad bout of food poisoning.
The driver of the truck told the police, that he lost control of the vehicle.
According to the hip hop star's spokesperson, 50 cent is responding to treatment and would be out in no time.
The spokesperson also confirmed that just last month he was in the hospital suffering from stomach virus.
