In case you're up for reliving ninth grade English all over again, below is the trailer for another goddamn adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. What's this one's angle, you may ask? Well, the dude who created Downton Abbey wrote the screenplay, and I'm sure he's put a whole new spin on it, even though it looks exactly like every other classical approach to the world's oldest (and, frankly, least believable) story of doomed loves. There's a Zola Jesus song in the trailer, Chuck Bass plays Tybalt, and you can show your love for the flick by using the hashtag #forbiddenlove. Also, Paul Giamatti plays that meddling priest who is the story's true villain. He's responsible for the deaths of two teens and NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT THAT. Anyway, here ya go:
