It was the party heard 'round the world, or at least, around NBA circles.
San Antonio Spurs swingman Danny Green was spotted at Club Story just hours after the Miami Heat won the 2013 Championship. Odd enough as it was that he was out on the town after suffering a devastating loss in the NBA Finals, Green was even more oddly seen with members of the Heat who were celebrating their victory.
Green was photographed with LeBron James as the two hugged it out, which lead to many suggestions that Green was out 'partying' with LeBron and the Heat.
The Spurs guard was quick to deflect those rumors, calling the whole situation a "misunderstanding" despite everybody with a Florida zip code being fully aware the Heat would be celebrating their Championship (assuming they won) at Club Story – the same club they celebrated their 2012 NBA Championship at.
And now with Green receiving more and more flack, LeBron James, who was a teammate of Green's when they were on the Cleveland Cavaliers is coming to his rescue, stating that Green was NOT partying with James and company.
Danny Green did not party with us on Thursday night. He came to say congrats and I told him how proud of him I was for taking advantage…..
