Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded this year, Chinese writer Mo Yan, one of the most famous contemporary authors.

Mo Yan was awarded for how "a hallucinatory realism that blends folk tales and contemporary history," the Nobel committee.

Mo Yan ("Do not talk" – the Chinese translation of his name) is the pseudonym of writer Guan Moya. Born in 1955 in Shandong province in eastern China, Mo Yan first story published in 1981 ("Chunya yu feifei / Flood night of spring"). In 1985 he first appears larger work, "Radish transparent / Toumingde hongluobo", which enjoyed great success.
