Boxing debuts at the Barclays Center on Saturday, Kell Brook is in an eliminator fight, and more from around the world this week in boxing.

Wednesday, November 17

TyC Sports (Argentina), 8:00 pm ET, Omar Narvaez vs Johnny Garcia. Narvaez is back again, defending his WBO super flyweight title for the second time this year. The opponent is Mexico's Johnny Garcia (16-3-1, 8 KO), who was stopped in two rounds a couple of fights back, but did beat Chango Vargas in his last fight on August 11.

Thursday, November 18

TV Max (Panama), 9:00 pm ET, Manuel Vides vs Cristian Flores.

Friday, November 19

Direct TV (Argentina), 9:00 pm ET, Marcelino Lopez vs Julio Ruiz. Lopez (24-0, 12 KO) is a 26-year-old lightweight prospect, while Ruiz (14-5, 3 KO) is a 27-year-old non-prospect who is 4-5 in his last nine bouts.

Telemundo, 11:35 pm ET, Orlando Cruz vs Jorge Pazos, Vicente Mosquera vs Cosme Rivera. Cruz really came out as a homosexual, and Pazos says he doesn't care. Frankly it doesn't seem like many people do, which is refreshing. Past the recent hoopla about him, Cruz is a good step or two below true world level, and probably doesn't figure to be a real contender at featherweight over the remainder of his career. Mosquera-Rivera is a fine matchup of veterans. Mosquera once gave Edwin Valero a halfway-decent test, losing by TKO in 10, but knocking Valero down in the third round. That was in 2006, and after that, Mosquera didn't fight again until 2011, doing some time in prison for his involvement in a shooting death. You can read more about that here, if you want to.

Saturday, November 20

Sky Sports 1 (UK), 3:00 pm ET, Kell Brook vs Hector Saldivia, Jamie McDonnell vs Darwin Zamora. Brook-Saldivia is an IBF welterweight eliminator, with the title up for grabs later in the night between Randall Bailey and Devon Alexander in Brooklyn, so we might have a solid idea of what's next for those guys if the mandatory fight were to come immediately, in early 2013. McDonnell-Zamora is also an eliminator, for the IBF bantawmeight belt. Originally, Vusi Malinga was somewhat absurdly facing McDonnell, despite sitting on an IBF mandatory shot forever and then losing badly to Leo Santa Cruz earlier this year. But he's out and replaced with a non-contender. McDonnell's a quality fighter, but anything can happen. Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage.

Showtime Extreme, 7:00 pm ET, Danny Jacobs vs TBA, Dmitriy Salita vs Brandon Hoskins, Luis Collazo vs Steve Upsher Chambers, Eddie Gomez vs Calvin Odom. I don't know what's actually going to be shown in full, but I'd like to see everything here except Salita-Hoskins. This is another Dmitriy Salita Special, where he faces someone who's really not good at all, then wins and acts like he's in line for a title shot. And there has been some push for Malignaggi-Salita as a NYC draw, but it's a crap fight. Hoskins has lost on two deep GBP undercards this year to Keith Thurman (TKO-3) and Phil Lo Greco (TKO-1). He's not any good at all. The last time Salita fought someone coming off of a win, Amir Khan sparked him in 1:16. I'd imagine Jacobs will be on TV, given the great story.

Showtime / BoxNation (UK), 9:00 pm ET, Danny Garcia vs Erik Morales (rematch), Paulie Malignaggi vs Pablo Cesar Cano, Peter Quillin vs Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam, Devon Alexander vs Randall Bailey. Four world title fights, one card, live on Showtime. There's not a single "must-see" fight here, but it's quality from top to bottom, even though Alexander-Bailey in particular runs the risk of being a snoozer. We'll have much more on this show. Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage.

CadenaTres (Mexico), 10:00 pm ET, Mario Lozano vs Ramon Alvarez.

TV Azteca (Mexico), 10:30 pm ET, Jorge Paez Jr vs Charlie Jose Navarro, Humberto Gutierrez vs Armando Robles.
