If you can't make it to next week's Banff World Media Festival, never fear, the revolution will be live streamed.
The Banff World Media Festival is a media conference for television and digital professionals from around the world. The goal of the festival is to help examine many of the critical issues facing the television and digital media industries. From new forms of advertising, to new content licensing schemes, to new distribution models.
For the first time, the Banff World Media Festival will live stream major portions of the conference to viewers around the world, for free.
At this year's event, there will be special sessions with Lifetime Achievement recipient Larry King, as well as a conversation with Uber-Producer Chuck Lorre. ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee will be keynoting the event and there will be "Digital Innovator Series" workshops to boot.
One of the more interesting aspects of this live stream is that it will be multi-lingual. Banff's streaming partner, Ortsbo will stream the event in more than 53 languages.
The Banff Media Festival runs from June 10 – 13. You can stream the event at http://liveandglobal.com/banff/ or at the official Banff website.
