Sony Pictures has just released a new TV spot for Len Wiseman's upcoming Remake of Total Recall, with Colin Farrell taking on the role of Quaid/Hauser, which was originally portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film also stars Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bill Nighy, and Ethan Hawke.
Clocking in at 30 seconds, the spot is entitled "Is it Real or Recall?" and features a bunch of quick cut footages that show the obligatory explosions and gun staredowns, along with glimpses of megababes Jessica Biel and Sharon Stone. The clip ends with the taglines "What is Real?" and "What is Recall?". Of course, we already know the answer, if this remake will mirror the story of the 1990 original, which in turn was based on the Phillip K. Dick story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale."
Total Recall (2012) arrives in theaters August 3rd.
